Strawberry Chia Protein Overnight Oats

These overnight oats are so easy to put together and make for a healthy and filling breakfast!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 2 tbsp vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup chopped frozen or fresh strawberries
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup almond milk (substitute milk of choice)

To make:

  1. Combine all ingredients in order in a 16 oz glass cup with a lid (I like to use pint canning jars)
  2. Place in fridge overnight or for at least 8 hours
  3. Add any additional toppings such as chopped almonds or walnuts just before serving
  4. Add additional milk if you prefer a looser consistency

Tips:

Make 2-3 jars of oats at a time to prep breakfast for a few days.

Do not leave prepared oats in the fridge longer than 72 hours as oats will become overly mushy.
